Since the early seventies Jan Hammarlund has been one the most important Swedish sing-and song writers.
With his soft but strong voice he delivers sharp observations of our society and our behaviors.
He has also introduced other artists to the Swedish audience by translate and interpret their songs, f ex Violeta Parra and Malvina Reynolds.
He is still active as a singer and in 1994 he started his own label Skördemåne (Harvest Moon).
